ANNUAL MEETING TIME Where: Long Lake - Sportsmen Club Date: April 16th Time: 7:00 pm
Last year's issues will be discussed and resolved, anyone with something to add should contact Randy Schlice 262-689-3699
so he can add it to the agenda.
High Lights/Topics - Need additional adult involvement with the league - Spokesperson volunteer request, one from East and West --- This person will be responsible to attend any off season meetings, be the
spokesperson for their league/club to discuss any past season problems and help put together
a plan for the upcoming season. - Additional off season meetings will be discussed - One "Contact Person"
volunteer from each community --- This person will be responsible to pass on all information/updates and announcements to their respective areas; This will distribute and reduce the amount of emails
currently being sent out by one person.
Registration dates are: Saturday February 4th
9am –Noon Saturday February 18th 9am –Noon Wednesday February 22nd
6pm-8pm.
There
will be a $50.00 late sign up fee and no guarantees that you will be able to be placed on a team. If anyone is interested in coaching, umpiring or announcing games, please
let us know at signups.We’d love to have you!
A few exciting additions for 2012:there is
a Gmail/Google calendar named “Newburgbaseball”, it is open to the public. For those
who use Google calendar you can import or view the schedule so important dates are not forgotten (like sign ups).Also,
check out the Facebook page “Newburg baseball and softball”.There is
also a website www.newburgbaseball.com for information.Please pass on to anyone you may know who is interested in the Newburg baseball program.This is a non-tryout program for girls and boys ages 6-16; our goal is to build confidence, hone skills and promote
teamwork.
